JAMESON WALLACE - Mite Beginner Red Team

Jameson is 7 year old Mite.  He is a hard-working player.  Coach Al says that Jameson had a great tournament this past weekend.  He was involved with the play, passing the puck well and hustled all the time on defense.

School: Woodmen Roberts Elementary, 1st Grade

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Playing on a team with all his friends, practicing with his coaches, making top shelf goals and making assists.

Favorite Music: Radio Active by Imagine Dragons

Future:  Would like to one day play in the NHL and become a Firefighter like his Dad. He says he'd also like to coach little kids in hockey.

JAKE ENGLE - Squirt A Team

Jake is a tireless worker that gives 100% effort every practice and every game. Jake is a strong skater and plays a consistently, fast game, that sees him make some exciting end to end rushes. A strong player defensively that reads the play well. Jake's tremendous effort and great attitude make him a valuable leader on the Squirt A team all season.

School: Remington Elementary, 5th Grade

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Playing defense and getting a chance to score once in a whole.  He loves breaking up plays and protecting his goalie.

Favorite Music: AC/DC

What he likes to do when not playing Hockey:  Enjoys playing racing games like Forza on Xbox. Loves high performance racing and cars, especially Lamborghini, Ferrari and Bugatti.

AUSTIN GIPSON - Pee Wee AA Team

Austin is a defenseman for the Pee Wee AA team.  In his second year at the AA level, Austin likes the physical aspects of the game, takes the body in front and in the corners, works hard to stop the rush and has a good shot from the blue line.  He uses his good stickwork to help get the puck out of the zone, sometimes even over the whole team.  Austin had a good week at practices and his hard work pays off for the team.

School:  7th Grade

What he likes to do when not playing Hockey:  His favorite game is Grand Theft Auto. He likes to pretend to just steal the cars and get chased by cops. He loves to snow board in the winter. He is learning to hunt big game as well as small game and likes to fish. He plays both football and inline hockey during the ice off season and has traveled a lot for inline. He says he has great flow due to his hair.

Siblings:  Brother Mikey who played for the Rampage AAA as a goalie last year and plays semi-pro inline hockey for the Thunder on defense. Sister Kim who played roller hockey as well on the Women's Thunder national championship winning team 4 years ago.

CULLEN SIMPSON - Bantam B Team

Cullen is a forward on the Bantam B team.  Through his hard work and dedication, Cullen has continued to improve his skills and hockey sense each and every year.  He is always looking for opportunities to be on the ice and find any pick up game. He uses every opportunity and shift to give his all and improve his stick-handling, skating and shooting.  Cullen is one of the hardest working players in practices every day!

Favorite NHL Team(s): Boston Bruins

Favorite NHL Player(s): Zdeno Chara and Jerome Iginla, but also Tavares, Kane, Oshie for their specific skills and hard work.

School: 7th Grade at Lewis Palmer Middle School

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Being part of a team but still being able to use and develop individual skills.  If Cullen doesn’t skate for a day or two, he gets crabby. If he could, he would live at the rink:.  Whenever asked whether he is dressed warmly enough, he just looks and says “I am a hockey player and the rink is my natural habitat”!

Favorite Music: Eminem

What he likes to do when not playing Hockey:  Playing NHL15 on his PS4, watching “The Walking Dead”, hanging out with his school friends.
