USA Hockey ADM Analytics Video - cross ice = more skill development
USA Hockey has put together this video to demonstrate collected data of youth players in full and half ice games. The player development in cross ice programs demonstrated 2-4 times more puck touches, passes, shots and contact. The cross ice numbers more truly reflect that of NHL statistics, and supports the ADM model for cross-ice player development for younger players.
