Meet the Colorado Rampage Players of the Week for Feb. 18, 2015

Mite - Logan Hunter

Squirt - Grant Taylor

Pee Wee - Dean Seifert

Mite Player of the Week

LOGAN HUNTER - Intermediate Mite Blue Team

Logan scored two goals in the last game. He has continued to play hard each and every week. Logan plays goalie and skates out 50% of the time. He has made big contributions both in goal, and when skating out on offense and defense. Logan has been a leader on the team this year mentoring his teammates especially as they take on the goalie position. He is hard working, unselfish with the puck and overall great team player.

Last tournament, Logan had a shut out in net for the Mite Blue Team.

Grade: Chinook Trails Elementary (3rd Grade)

Favorite Thing about Hockey: It's fun!!

Favorite Music: Likes everything!

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey: He loves NHL 2015, Gator Boys and he really enjoys bass and trout fishing.

Siblings: Caleb (2 1/2)

Logan has been playing hockey for 2 full seasons now.

Squirt Player of the Week

GRANT TAYLOR - Squirt A Team

Grant is a player that is always having fun on and off the ice. He plays with tremendous effort and is always smiling. He grasps concepts and skills in practice and applies them to the game. Grant is extremely coachable. He is a positive person that is always encouraging his teammates. He plays fast and makes plays every shift he takes. He is a quiet leader that does the right thing, even when nobody is watching.

Grant has 1 goal and 1 assist last week in game play!

Grade: Larkspur Elementary (4th Grade)

Favorite Thing about Hockey: The speed!

Favorite Music: Knocking on Heavens Door by Guns n Roses

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey: Enjoys golf and watching movies in his spare time.

Pee Wee Player of the Week

DEAN SEIFERT - Pee Wee A Team

Dean's consistent effort level in practice over the weeks has translated to him becoming one of the most consistent players on the team. Dean skates well and has good stickwork, and although a defenseman, he is not afraid to skate the puck and make plays in the offensive end. He is one of the leaders of the team, on and off the ice.

Grade: Mountain Ridge Middle School (7th grade)

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Playing good defense, stealing the puck and scoring!

Bantam Player of the Week

CAMERON SYKES - Bantam AA Team

Cameron had 4G and 1A in 4 games this past weekend. Continuing a 5 game goal streak. His hard work in the defensive zone really helped the team. Cam's non-stop hard work has paid off for him over the last couple of weeks. It is no surprise when you see him in practice, working hard on every rep. He challenges himself to master the skills. Cam has a great work ethic and leads by example. He is a leader on the ice and in gym.
