Sioux Falls Stampede forward Jack Suter has committed to attend and play hockey at the United States Air Force Academy following his USHL career.

Suter has recorded six points (2g, 4a) and a plus-six rating over 32 games this season for the Stampede.  He netted his first USHL career goal in the 4-1 loss to the Dubuque Fighting Saints on November 22, 2014.  The forward has posted an even-or-better plus/minus rating in 29 of the 32 games he has played this season.

The 19-year-old native of Omaha, Nebraska played youth hockey for the Omaha Lancers AAA program before spending the last two seasons in the Colorado Rampage organization.  His brother, Will Suter, also played in the USHL, spending two full seasons with the Lincoln Stars (2011-13) before beginning his collegiate career at Bentley University.

Suter is joined by Des Moines Buccaneers forward Kyle Patava who is also committed to Air Force.

The United States Air Force Academy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Falcons are a member of the Atlantic Hockey Association.  Eleven USHL alumni are playing for the school this season; Chad Demers (Fargo Force), Cole Gunnar (Tri-City/Chicago/Fargo), Dan Weissenhofer (Fargo/Lincoln), George Michalke (Sioux Falls Stampede), Max Hartner (Green Bay Gamblers), Johnny Hrabovsky (Tri-City Storm), A.J. Reid (Fargo Force), Phil Boje (Dubuque Fighting Saints), Austin Priebe (Sioux City Musketeers), Connor Girard (Sioux City/Dubuque), and Kyle Mackey (Youngstown Phantoms).

Additionally, the Falcons head coach Frank Serratore spent six seasons coaching in the USHL (Omaha Lancers/Rochester Mustangs/Austin Mavericks) and is among the all-time leaders in winning percentage (.710).
