Mite Player of the Week

CHRISTOPHER KUNZE - Mite Intermediate Silver Team

Christopher is a hard-working, two-way player who always brings great energy to the practices and each game. He has solid skills that he works to improve every time he is on the ice. He continues to work hard and shows an understanding of the game, and the importance of teamwork, that is exceptional.

Grade: Ranch Creek Elementary School (Grade 3)

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Scoring Goals

Favorite Music: Beastie Boys

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey:  Playing outside with friends

Squirt Player of the Week

SPENCER LEHMKUHL - Squirt C Team

In net for the final two games on Monday, to end the Presidents Tournament, Spencer played every minute stopping pucks,  and helped his team proudly bring home the 2nd place trophy in the Squirt C bracket.  Spencer has followed the weekend's games up with a great week of focus and work ethic at practice.  He has been giving a consistent effort and looking to improve.

Grade: Centennial Elementary (Grade 4)

Favorite Thing about Hockey: It teaches me to do something else and helps make my body stronger.

Favorite Music:  Band  - Alt Jay. Song - House of Gold

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey:  - Favorite TV show - Agents of Shield. Favorite Things to Do - play baseball, soccer, and wrestling with the dogs.

Pee Wee Player of the Week

SPENCER SYKES - PeeWee AA Team

Spencer receives this award as a body of work award for his efforts all season.  He's been constantly working hard since September, watching his ice time steadily increase along the way.  His hard work rewarded by the goal he scored in the Kansas City Winter Classic Tournament last weekend.  Showing courage and determination, he took the puck from the right dot and would not be denied as he drove the net with an opponent on his back and slid the puck past the goalie, proving that there is a future power forward inside this first year Pee Wee.  

One of his two favorite  player, Ray Borque, would have been proud.

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Assists

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey:  He loves NHL15 on the Xbox

Spencer has been a Rampage player for 7 years!

Bantam Player of the Week

PARKER BOCK - Bantam AA Team

This week Parker played outstanding defense in the season's final game against Boulder. Parker had great gap all game long driving the attackers to the boards, got the puck up the ice quick in transition, and did a good job taking away time and space in the corners. Parker has gone back and forth on defense and forward all season long without skipping a beat. A well rounded utility player who continues to improve in all tasks asked of him.
