We are excited to announce that during the month of December, we have decided to add two new skills camps for your hockey player!

These will be run via online reservation using the EZ Facility system.

To register:

1 - Create a profile in your player's name at monumentice.ezfacility.com

2 - Go to "Book Sessions" to see available sessions. Clinics are split by age and type (Shooting vs D Core, 2008 + older, 2009 + younger)

3 - Purchase punch cards. 1 = $35, 3 = $99 (Youth skills clinic punches)

4 - Book your skater onto the session of your choice

Skaters may attend any combination of clinics, from single sessions to combinations of shooting and D Core.
If a session is not showing in EZ, it likely means it is fully booked. Please keep an eye on EZ, as sometimes skaters cancel and spots open up.
Sessions may be cancelled if needed and punch cards are returned to your account.
Punch cards are shared between siblings (please email us to ask us to connect sibling accounts after they have been created)
Punch cards will also be usable on other skills clinics during summer etc.
If sessions are reserved and skater does not cancel and does not attend, a 'no show' counts as though the session is attended. Refunds are not given.
Punch cards do not expire.

Shooting and Scoring Camp  26-28 Dec, 2020

Players will work on:

-Shooting technique and quick releases in skating stride
-Attacking the net with speed
-Getting to higher percentage scoring areas through "game like situations"
-Skating and puck handling skills that help create more scoring chances
-Creating deception and changing shooting angles
-Reading "the play" presented to be an effective goal scorer
-"Zoom" Video recap session of skills taught at conclusion of the camp
-Camp led by Monument Hockey Academy and Tier 1 coaching staff

This camp is great for all positions (specifically forwards) looking to find creative ways to score more goals and help their team have more success!

D-Core: "Training the Complete Defenseman" 26-28 Dec, 2020

Players will work on:

-Ability to retrieve pucks
-Passing and skating
-Defending ability
-Head up play

Former NCAA & Pro Hockey Defenseman, Kevin Patterson, will lead players through sets of drills that will touch on how to develop these five areas that make a great defenseman. Camp will also include AAA coaches and skills coaches from the Monument Hockey Academy.

This camp is great for players at any position (especially forwards) to learn both sides of the game and become a well-rounded player.
