1998 Defenseman Carson Briske drafted by the Bloomington Thunder in the USHL Futures Draft.

1997 Defenseman Bo Hanson drafted by Muskegon in the second round and 1997 Forward AJ Vanderbeck drafted by Des Moines in the third round.

Also added to this list of drafted players is 1996 Goalkeeper Jacob Weatherly, two-time state champion and Rocky Mountain District championship goaltender 2014 drafted by the expansion Madison Capitols.  Said program director Andrew Sherman "The USHL draft legitimizes all the hard work these young men put into the sport they love.  We are happy to see them get that recognition"

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 12th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2013-14.  A record 32 players were chosen in the 2013 NHL Draft and more than 300 players on team rosters last season have committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
