1996 born Mason Morelli was drafted in the USHL futures draft third overall to the Fargo Force. "It's a dream come true as my family and I have made many trips down from Minot to watch the team play". Morelli played high school hockey in North Dakota, 4 games for Colorado Rampage and finished the season playing in the NAHL for the Minot Minotauros. With the Rampage in September, Morelli during 4 games totaled 1 goal with 20 penalty minutes and finished the year with 11 games 1 goal, 2 assists and 7 penalty minutes. Morelli's father and grandfather both played at the University of North Dakota. Morelli joins 5 other players to see their name on USHL draft list that have worn a Rampage sweater. Josh Racek to Green Bay, Zach Hartley to Green Bay, Charlie Donlin to Sioux Falls, Alejandro Ochoa to Cedar Rapids and Jared Fiegl to Des Moines.
