CARTER McKEOWN - Mite Advanced Blue Team
Carter had a great practice on Friday. His effort and attitude have been great all season. He works on the things he needs to improve on every time he hits the ice and does so with contagious enthusiasm. Carter set the tone early for the team in the scrimmage against Pueblo this past weekend. He was working and skating hard. He scored some goals and was a force all game. He had a huge smile and a look of determination all game long.

Since starting hockey at age 4, Carter has played on hockey teams in four different states.
Marek Kwiatkowski - Squirt C Team
Marek had a great week during practices with good effort and was rewarded with a hat trick on Saturday in the team's first league game win. His impact on the win was driving hard to the net all weekend and creating opportunities for his line. He help the team by providing great energy to keep generating opportunities.

Marek was born in Buffalo, NY (thus his love for the Sabres) and wants to go back there solely to go to Sabres games!
MASON WEIDNER - Pee Wee A Team
Mason had a goal Saturday in a 3-1 victory over Arvada, and a goal Sunday in a 6-4 victory over Boulder. Mason's attitude and work ethic have been excellent all season long.
Early in the season, Mason was playing defense, and has since worked hard to make the transition to forward. The phrase "hard to play against" comes to mind when talking about Mason, as he is always playing at a high tempo, and applying pressure to opponents. Mason's positive attitude has an impact on his teammates, as he is always a good influence on and off the ice.

Favorite Thing about Hockey: Likes that hockey is a team sport, but the whole team contribute as individuals. Enjoys making friendships with teammates, improving individual skills and learning from the coaches.

Favorite thing to do when not playing Hockey: Watching the NHL Network and playing LAX (Lacrosse).
Siblings: Twin sister Maddie
Mason attended his first hockey game when he was 2 weeks old. He started skating when he was 3. He attends as many Sticks and Pucks sessions as he can and considers the rink his second home. He would like to coach hockey when he is older.
REECE COLSON - Bantam AA Team
This week, Reece had a very strong showing against the Foothills Flyers. He was easily the hardest working player on the ice, and never give up. He showed his teammates what it means not to quit. Reece has shown great commitment to getting better everyday. Reece has shown vast improvements this year now in his second season with the Rampage. He has been in the net for all 3 of the teams wins this season. Reece is a great example of what a player can accomplish when you put your head down and get to work, the future is bright for Reece!
