DeFazio selected to advance to USA Hockey '99 National Camp

Bryce DeFazio attended the USA Hockey Regional Camp in Utah and was selected to move on to the '99 National Camp.  He was one of four defenseman selected from the region to move on to the national camp.  He will attend the USA Hockey National Camp where top rated 99's will showcase their skills in front of high level coaches and scouts.

DeFazio is a 6'3", 185 lbs. defenseman played last season with the Colorado Rampage 16U National. He was recently drafted in the USHL Phase 1 draft to the Waterloo Black Hawks.

He is a Colorado Springs local who has played all his youth hockey in the  region.  From mini-mites to squirt A (ages 5-10) he played for the Colorado Springs Jr. Tigers, then he played as a Pikes Peak Minor as a Pee Wee AA and as a first year Bantam AA (ages 11-13).  He then played for the Colorado Rampage for the past two years (ages 14-15) with the U14AAA and U16 National teams.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to go to National camp and I owe a lot of my success to Coach Pat Bingham and the Colorado Rampage organization." Defazio remarked, "I couldn't be happier for the opportunity but my main focus will continue my development and training hard this off season".
