The Professional Skaters Association recognized two of the Monument, CO based 7K Skating Academy members this past week at their 2015 PSA Annual international conference.

Jason Brown was awarded the Gustave Lussi Award presented to a male, professional skater who has brought recognition to the sport in a positive and favorable manner.

Rohene Ward was presented with the Paul McGrath Choreographer of the Year Award. The Paul McGrath Award for Choreographer of the Year is given each year to the choreographer who best exemplifies the dedication to artistic excellence that was portrayed by Paul McGrath in his coaching and choreography. The Professional Skaters Association Board of Directors, the U.S. Figure Skating Coaches Committee and the U.S. Figure Skating International Committee select the Choreographer of Year each spring.

The 7K Skating Academy who is based out of the Colorado Sports Center in Monument, CO has partnered up with the Colorado Rampage to assist with teaching edge work to the Rampage players, as well as to help promote and coach skating programs for both hockey and figure skating.

Congratulations to both Jason and Rohene from the Colorado Rampage!
