Sean O'Rourke will head to the NCAA Tournament with the Ferris State Bulldogs of the WCHA. The stocky 5'9" 180lb D-man is the Assistant captain for the Bulldogs, and helped lead them to a 2-1 victory over Minnesota State in Grand Rapids, MI. Sean played for the Colorado Rampage during the 08-09 season where he showed his ability to win battles and make plays, as a strong player with a powerful stride and a high level of hockey sense. With an incredible level of compete, Sean impressed the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the NAHL, where he spent his next 3 years tallying 100 points in 162 games and boasting an impressive +21 in his final season. Garnering the attention of the Bulldogs, Sean became a Division 1 player. And now, in his 129th game for the Ferris State Bulldogs, O'Rourke will battle with his team and lead by example to reach the Frozen Four. Having won the Robertson Cup with the Ice Dogs in the 10-11 season, Sean knows what it takes to battle and beat the highest levels of competition. Sean and the Ferris State Bulldogs will face off against the St. Cloud Huskies March 26th in Saint Paul, Minn.
