Scoring goals and shutting down goal scorers
Working on skills alongside offensive and defensive concepts, the Rampage Skills camp was a tremendous success. Players received training from Coaches Pat Bingham, Joey Carroll, and Riese Niehaus on advancing their skating and puck skills and how to utilize them in game situations. Coaches worked on teaching players deception with the puck, how to escape from pressure, creating time and space, and decision making. These core aspects help players play faster and make better decisions at a higher pace. All players received training in defensive and offensive concepts, before being split into position specific groups and working on position specific skills and a deeper understanding of those concepts. The camp was a lot of fun and every player was exposed to great information and excellent training opportunities.
