Bo Hanson has made the decision to commit to St. Lawrence  of the ECAC (NCAA Div. 1). The 6'2" 210lb D-Man has been a tremendous impact player this season for the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL. Proudly wearing the captain's "C" for the team, Bo leads all USHL defensemen in points with 20 in just 23 games (3G, 17A), making it easy for Division 1 teams to come knocking on his door. Bo's ability to create offense comes from his sight on the ice, making plays off of the first pass and his knack to escape pressure with his exceptional skating skills.

Bo played for the Colorado Rampage 16U AAA team during the 2013-2014 season under coach Pat Bingham, scoring 26 points in 36 games and dominating at the 16 AAA level. This garnered the attention of the Muskegon Lumberjacks, which saw Bo suiting up in the USHL for the 2014-2015 season as a 17 year old. With a total of 132 USHL games under his belt, and more to come for the current season, Bo is prepared to move into the next level. Spending his summers training under coach Pat Bingham and Andrew Sherman, he attributes much of his leadership success to the coaches and players he is around during the spring and summer programs with the Rampage. As a tremendous leader and an exceptional hockey player, these assets combined with his competitive spirit (and booming slapshot) will propel Bo tremendously when he steps in the realm of Division 1 hockey.

Congratulations, Bo!!!
