Colorado Rampage owner Andrew Sherman announced today that the Rampage have named Pat Bingham to serve as the club's RMJHL head coach. Bingham becomes the 4th head coach in franchise history.

"We are very pleased to name Pat as our new head coach," said Sherman. "Pat is an excellent coach and a proven winner. Pat has won a WHL championship as a junior player and an ECHL championship as a pro player, and he’s won a CHL championship as a pro coach. He's experienced, knowledgeable and is a great leader and communicator. He's also a former ECHL coach of the year award winner with over 1000 professional games coached, and the perfect fit for us. We're thrilled to have him coach our RMJHL team."

Bingham, 48, joined the Rampage organization 5 years ago following 15 seasons coaching professional hockey in the AHL, ECHL, UHL and CHL while working for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins and coaching the affiliate teams of the Ottawa Senators and Anaheim Ducks. Bingham joined the Rampage in 2012 as President, Hockey Director and 16 AAA head coach. He has helped the Rampage organization become an ADM model club and one of the largest and fastest growing programs in Colorado known throughout the state for its impressive coaching staff and focus on player development.

"I'm extremely happy to be coaching our junior team," said Bingham. "I love coaching this age group and am passionate about helping players reach their full potential. We will have a young team with a ton of character and I'm excited about leading this group of players. I'd like to thank Andrew Sherman for this incredible opportunity. I can't wait to get started."

“I am very fortunate to be able to coach alongside Pat Bingham and within the Rampage organization, a club that helped me develop and take the next step as a hockey player. I am extremely excited to be on our junior coaching staff and develop these players for the tier II and

collegiate levels of their careers, playing junior hockey was a great experience for myself and I look forward to bringing that knowledge and experience to the team and Rampage organization.”
