The Colorado Rampage have carried an attitude of excellence since their humble conception nearly 15 years ago. Focussing on culture and a powerful pride in work ethic, echoed by the motto, "Nobody out works US". Players have been held to high standards on and off the ice, maintaining that to play at the highest levels you will need more than motivation and determination, you will need drive. A drive to achieve at all costs, no matter what obstacles or adversity falls into your path, you must have the drive to succeed.

This belief in an attitude of excellence has driven many Rampage Alumni to succeed and excel at the next level. 

Grant Arnold (5/8/91) is a towering 6'1" 216lb power forward who played for the Rampage during the 2008-2009 season. Wracking up an impressive 42 points in only 46 games, Grant was drafted into the USHL by the Green Bay Gamblers. Playing 3 season with the Gamblers, Grant proved to be a force on the ice tallying 49 points in 138 games and earning 202 penalty minutes by being very difficult to play against. A tremendous leader on the ice, Grant's ability to be a 2 way player contributing in both the offensive and defensive zones came with team success as the Gamblers went deep into the playoffs each season during Grant's tenure. Winning 2 Clark Cups in the process. During his last season with the Gamblers, Grant wore the Captain's "C", leading the Gamblers to yet another Clark Cup. 

Following his successful Junior career, Grant went on to play for the Denver University Pioneers in the NCHC. Playing for the Pioneers for the next 4 seasons, Grant tallied 34 points in 153 games, winning a National Championship in 2014 and wearing the Captain's "C" for 2 seasons in a row, something that had not been done in 62 years. Upon receiving the Dr. Ralph Verploeg Award as the NCAA Most Inspirational player and NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition, Grant took the step into professional hockey.

Playing in the ECHL as a rookie for the Quad City Mallards, Grant wore an Assistant Captain's "A", helping the team to their first 40-win season in franchise history. Grant decided to step back from professional hockey, and has now returned to Green Bay as the Assistant Coach for the Gamblers. The leadership skills and drive that he found with the Rampage have helped him become a leader at every level, now helping him give back to future players.
