Growing the Game of hockey is a big focus for the Colorado Rampage, with our organization leading both the state and nationwide in introducing the sport to younger children.
Our program aims to provide opportunities for our players to be able to continue the sport for life - from U8 through U18, into adult leagues - and at all levels, from novice to AAA and beyond.
Many of our players, upon starting High School, opt to play for their school teams, often continuing to play with Rampage at the same time. The impact our players are having right now in our local high school leagues is considerable, with the vast majority of players in the two leading local high school teams, Pine Creek and Lewis Palmer, former or current Rampage players.
Per Tier 1 Coordinator Luke Fulghum, "it's hard to reach an elite level, but even if players are not competing at the AAA level, they are playing important roles on high school teams and becoming hockey players for life."
